Burlington, Ont. — Wednesday, June 22, 2022 — This summer, the City of Burlington is bringing back many free events and programs to residents and visitors. There will be fun activities and events suited for everyone.
This summer will feature Concerts in the Park, Kids Mini Fest, Movies Under the Stars and Free Summer Swimming.
Concerts in the Park, presented by the Rocca Sisters
Concerts in the Park are presented by the Rocca Sisters and are every Wednesday and Sunday from 7:30 – 9 p.m. at Central Park Bandshell (2311 New St.) until the end of August. Bring a blanket or chair, pack a picnic and join us for an evening of free music. For a full list of artists visit burlington.ca/concerts
Kids Mini Fest, presented by the Rocca Sisters
Kids Mini Fest on Saturday, Aug. 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. is presented by the Rocca Sisters, with special activities provided by Safari Dental. We invite you to join us at one of the locations listed below for this free family-friendly event. This event offers simultaneous/same level of programming and activities at each location. You are encouraged to choose the park that is closest to you.

- Location: 2 – Cumberland Park, 562 Cumberland Ave.
- Location: 3 – Millcroft Park, 4520 Millcroft Park Dr.

Movies Under the Stars, presented by Access Storage
Movies Under the Stars presented by Access Storage will take place on select Thursdays, in July and August at parks throughout the city. Come early and bring a picnic or snack and pick your spot on the lawn for the night. All movies start at dusk. To view dates, locations and movies, visit burlington.ca/movies
Free Summer Swimming, presented by Access Storage
Free summer swimming presented by Access Storage will happen at select times at various locations and times throughout the summer. Come cool off and have fun in our outdoor and indoor pools. For specific dates and times, search “free swim” at burlington.ca/dropinandplay
