Rescheduled Statutory Public Meeting for mixed-use development application at Lakeside Plaza 5353 Lakeshore Road on April 9

The Statutory Public Meeting for the development application at 5353 Lakeshore Road has been rescheduled to Tuesday, April 9 at 6:30 pm in Council Chambers. You do not have to register in advance to speak at a statutory public meeting.

The meeting was previously set for Feb. 12, but cancelled due to weather concerns.

Planning Application Proposal:

  • 900 new residential units, 2,700 square metres of office space and 11, 955 square metres of service commercial and retail uses with 1,350 parking surface and underground parking spaces
  • Access will be maintained from Kenwood Avenue, Hampton Heath Road and Lakeshore Road

Since this is a statutory public meeting, you do not have to register in advance to speak, but if you wish to do so, you can register online at www.burlington.ca/delegation or contact Jo-Anne Rudy, Committee Clerk at 905-335-7600, ext. 7413 or Jo-Anne.Rudy@burlington.ca. Speakers are limited to a maximum of 10 minutes each and are webcasted online.

Also, if you have presentation materials, they must be submitted to the committee clerk by noon the day before the meeting so that they can be distributed and reviewed by all members of the Committee. Please note the content of all submissions is considered to be public and will be posted to the city’s website.
